Governo do Ceará inicia serviço de identificação neonatal e infantil para emissão da Carteira de Identidade Nacional (CIN)
O Governo do Ceará, por meio da Perícia Forense do Ceará (Pefoce), vinculada à Secretaria da Segurança Pública e Defesa Social (SSPDS), lança, nesta quinta-feira (18), às 14h30, em Fortaleza, o projeto piloto de identificação neonatal e infantil. Com a iniciativa, recém-nascidos poderão ter a Carteira de Identidade Nacional (CIN) já nos primeiros dias de vida, ainda na maternidade. O governador Elmano de Freitas, o secretário da Segurança Pública e Defesa Social, Roberto Sá, e o perito-geral Júlio Torres acompanham o início do serviço.
A Pefoce utilizará um equipamento que permite uma captura com dez vezes mais qualidade das digitais dos bebês, permitindo mais segurança na resolução das imagens em virtude da característica da pele de um recém-nascido. A biometria garante uma identificação inequívoca e única, assegurando que o bebê será corretamente identificado em qualquer circunstância.
O procedimento vinculará o prontuário civil da criança ao da mãe. Essa integração aumenta ajuda prevenir casos de raptos e trocas de bebês, além de garantir acesso imediato a benefícios e programas sociais.
